Odilon Redon is a representative symbolist at the end of the 19th century. Around the turn of the century, he moved to the style to produce colorful pictures mainly with pastels. His uniqueness was established in works of which motifs are myths and religion.
Here is a mystic space, where a person who is thinking and meditating stands. Redon, who made full use of pastel techniques, created the picture where colors echo one another with abundant light.
