Odilon Redon is a representative symbolist at the
end of the 19th century. Around the turn
of the century, he moved to the style to produce
colorful pictures mainly with pastels. His uniqueness
was established in works of which motifs are myths
and religion.
Here is a mystic space, where a person who is thinking
and meditating stands. Redon, who made full use
of pastel techniques, created the picture where
colors echo one another with abundant light.
