The blue tablecloth

Georges Braque, who created cubism with Picasso, was also one of the still life painters representing the 20th century.
Here, he pursued the harmony of the entire space of the room by constructing the picture decoratively with curves of the tablecloth. The thick and heavy matiere of paint mixed with sand and the coloration focusing on black show his sophisticated artistic sense.
